9 Facts About Me
What better way to get to know me than through a blog?
Everyone has things that make them unique, that differentiates them from others and puts a story to their name.
That being said for my first post, let's start with random facts about me...
Edmonton, Alberta
1. Growing up I played the piano.
I started playing and taking lessons when I was seven, until the age of seventeen. I can still play and read the notes, but it's been a while since I've played. My favourite song to play for the past few years is "Memory".
2. I currently have 5 tattoos and 8 piercings.
I got my first tattoo in Calgary when I was eighteen and my most recent one in Winnipeg on my twenty-first birthday. Six of my piercings are on one ear and two piercings on the other. I hope to balance it out soon. Almost forgot, I have a tattoo in my ear... yes in my ear.
3. My go-to A&W order is a double mozza burger and sweet potato fries.
Yeahhh.... I hate to admit it but yes a double! I don't have A&W often but when I go... I will always order this. Even though I'm lactose intolerant!!
4. I can't go without a camera.
Cameras- phones, polaroids, disposables, instax... Best invention EVER! I love being behind the camera but I also love being in front of the camera. It's super exciting and thrilling to create beautiful images to share.
5. My favourite music is rap.
No matter what mood I'm in, my go to music is rap.
6. I've worked in 3 different provinces.
Manitoba to Québec to Ontario. I've been extremely lucky with the experiences that I've had and I hope I can add more provinces to my list.
7. I took dance from 2007 to 2017
I've done Hip-Hop, tap and tap jazz when I was a kid. I stopped dancing because once I graduated I didn't want to pay for dance and I wanted to change studios but didn't know where to go. Since then I've done Zumba from time to time, and have such a big appreciation for dance. Occasionally, I wish I still danced but maybe sometime in the future I'll pick it up again.
8. I enjoy taking everyday at a time.
Some days it's easier said than done but I like taking things as they come everyday. Although, I also like looking at the big picture of the future.
9. If I could see every sunset. Everyday. I would.
There is no sunset that looks the same. That's the beauty of it. I love all sunsets but my favourite is when the clouds show the colours of the sun. Especially once the sun is set and there's the after colours.
